Ready to Get Healthy?

Hey guys!

Thanks for stopping at my site.  I'm excited -- I'm 17, a high school junior.  Really, I'm not much different from most high school kids.  We live in the present and love a lot about life.  We can't wait to be away from the our parents--off on our own, making all of our own choices.  Choices--this website is a LOT about choices.

What I learned (as will you), is that the choices we make now will effect our lives in ways we never could have imagined.  Simple choices made over and over again, through the decades of life, become magnified!  Take for example, the Freshman 15.  It refers to the very typical 15 pounds that many freshmen college students gain.  If that happens, and continues to happen, by the time you are 28 (10 year high school reunion), you will be 15 x 10= 150 pounds heavier!! YIKES  Obviously, that won't happen (or will it?!?--know how many calories are in a fancy coffee drink with whipped cream on top--how many of those can you drink in a year--what will that do to your butt?)

So, yeah this is a bit of an exaggeration, but it makes you think.  Eating a healthy diet and exercising does make a difference.  And when I say diet I don't mean Adkins, South Beach or any of those.  I'm talking about what you're eating...your diet.  Don't let choices you make today decide your future.

Yes. Eating and exercising properly makes you this happy.
